Many wonderful, intelligent dogs with great personalities and sufficient training end up in rescue or local shelters. Denver Dumb Friends League Westie Rescue - Colorado Our company name, A and I Wear comes from our West Highland White Terrier mascots Adie and Ian. Don't let their sweet faces fool you, Adie is every bit the intelligent and tenacious terrier that Westie's are known for. She rules our household, receiving all she demands from us; we are merely her humble and loyal servants. Ian is a sweet natured boy that we adopted through the Westie Rescue of Colorado. He came to live with us just before his 2nd birthday. Ian loves to chase rabbits on our morning walks, eat food - any kind of food! He sits with me in the evenings and it gives him comfort knowing he belongs and is dearly loved. Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 9 a.m. Benefiting the more than 25,000 homeless and abandoned animals the Dumb Friends League care for each year!
